The course of the day

Databases in the AWS cloud. What are the different types of databases in the cloud. How to move from the database to the cloud with large data masses. What the administrator needs to know about monitoring, verifications and auditing in the cloud. Let’s briefly go through the architect’s perspective on serverless architecture.

• Introducing the Amazon Web Services (AWS) speaker team.
• Database types according to purpose of use.
• EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, Document, Wide column, Graph, Time Series.
• Monitoring Databases in the Cloud.
• Logs and auditing.
• Backup and Recovery.
• Immutability of information and time travel in the life cycle of information.
• Scalability and elasticity in database architectures.
• Databases and Serverless – an architect’s view.
• Summary and Q&A.

Language: English, you can also ask questions in Finnish as there will be local team present during the events.
Possible skill level: All skill levels are welcome. It’s beneficial if you know the basic concepts of AWS Cloud Services.
