Cybersecurity Fundamentals
In this session, Juha Saarinen will introduce you to the fundamentals of cybersecurity and how to protect your data and assets in the cloud, based on the Microsoft Skills for Jobs program.
You will learn about the common cyber threats and risks, the principles and best practices of cybersecurity, and the tools and services that Microsoft offers to help you secure your cloud environment. You will also explore the different domains of cybersecurity, such as identity and access management, network security, encryption and key management, threat protection, and governance and compliance, and how to use them to implement a defense-in-depth strategy.
By the end of this session, you will have a basic understanding of cybersecurity and its importance, and be ready to take the SC-900 exam to earn your Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification.
During the session, the presenter will do an overview of the content and answer any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you in this session and helping you to achieve your Cybersecurity Microdegree.
