Vaadin is a Java-based open-source framework that enables you to build modern web applications quickly as the components are high quality, well tested and easily themeable.

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of how you can use the Vaadin framework and the components to build UIs that look good and work well.

No prior knowledge of Vaadin is required, however some basic experience of Java coding language and of using an IDE (e.g. Eclipse or IntelliJ) is necessary. It is enough if you for example have done a course in Java basics during studies or an online course such as this one: Java for Absolute Beginners

The agenda for the workshop will be the following:

– Introduction to Vaadin
– Vaadin Layouts
– Using the Grid
– Summary and Q&A

Duration: 2 hrs

Location: Online (Google Meet)

NB! The number of participants in the workshop is limited. If you cannot attend the workshop, remember to cancel your participation. No show means that you can’t participate in our following workshops for half a year.
